Gadget Trade
Campaign Policies
These policies explain how paid promotional campaigns are created, reviewed, delivered and measured on Gadget Trade.
1. Scope and eligibility
These Campaign Policies apply to paid advertising created or managed through Gadget Trade Ad Manager. Advertisers must have an account in good standing and must provide accurate information about the advertised product, service, business, creator, offer and destination.
2. Advertising we accept
Gadget Trade accepts advertising for lawful, accurately described products, services, businesses, creators and marketplace experiences that are compatible with Gadget Trade’s rules. Creative should be truthful, understandable and consistent with the destination. Advertisers must have the rights required to use the supplied text, images, logos, video, music and other creative material.
3. Prohibited or restricted advertising
Campaigns may be rejected or removed when they promote illegal or prohibited goods, counterfeit or stolen goods, scams, phishing, malware, fake receipts, deceptive payment requests, impersonation, abusive or hateful content, unsafe financial claims, misleading offers, manipulated evidence, or destinations designed to collect credentials or payment secrets. Additional restrictions may apply to sensitive or regulated categories.
4. Accuracy and substantiation
Claims about price, availability, performance, discounts, awards, delivery, product condition, warranties or outcomes must be supportable and must not materially conflict with the destination page. If an offer has conditions, those conditions should be clear before a user commits money or provides personal information.
5. Creative and destination requirements
Creative should be clear, readable and relevant to the selected objective. Destination links must use HTTPS where required by the campaign builder, must resolve correctly and must not redirect users to deceptive or unsafe pages. Advertisers should test links, forms and calls to action before submission.
6. Audience and targeting
Audience tools are intended for legitimate advertising purposes. Advertisers must not use targeting to discriminate unlawfully, expose private information or make sensitive inferences about individuals. Suggested audiences are starting points and do not guarantee delivery.
7. Placements and preview
Ad Manager can show a representative preview of eligible placements before publication. The preview is an illustration of the configured campaign and does not guarantee an exact position, impression count, audience, ranking or identical rendering on every device. Eligible surfaces can include featured marketplace areas, product placements and GT Reels when the campaign supports them.
8. Review and approval
Paid campaigns can enter pending review. Gadget Trade may evaluate the creative, destination, account status, product or service, claims, audience and placement. Payment does not guarantee approval or delivery.
9. Rejected campaigns and review notes
If a campaign is rejected, Gadget Trade may provide a review note explaining the issue and the change needed. Advertisers should correct the identified issue rather than repeatedly submitting unchanged creative. If the reason is unclear, use official Support and provide the campaign reference.
10. Budget, billing and refunds
The campaign builder validates budget and schedule settings. Payments are verified before paid campaign records are activated. A successful charge is not a promise of reach, clicks, sales or approval. Any refund or billing adjustment is handled under the applicable payment and campaign terms and the payment record should be retained for support.
11. Delivery and performance
Delivery can vary with audience availability, placement capacity, user activity, campaign settings, budget, creative quality and safety controls. Reported impressions, clicks, shares and attributable orders reflect recorded platform activity where available and are not guarantees of commercial results.
12. Changes, pauses and removal
Gadget Trade may pause, reject or remove campaigns that breach these policies, the Terms & Conditions, marketplace rules or applicable law. We may also change available objectives, placements, limits and review requirements as the advertising product develops.
13. Account and privacy responsibilities
Do not put passwords, OTPs, PINs, CVVs, secret API keys or other authentication credentials in advertising creative or public destinations. Advertisers are responsible for handling user information lawfully and for providing appropriate privacy information where a campaign collects personal information.
15. Product and marketplace advertising
Product ads may promote eligible phones, laptops, tablets, consoles, cameras, audio products, accessories, networking equipment, wearables and other lawful gadgets that can be accurately represented on Gadget Trade. The advertised listing, seller, price, condition, stock and destination should match what a shopper can actually find.
16. Business and service advertising
Eligible businesses and services may advertise when the advertiser can clearly explain what is being offered, who provides it, how a customer can contact the business and what material conditions apply. Advertising must not impersonate another company, use another person's identity without permission or create a false impression of Gadget Trade endorsement.
17. Image and video standards
Images and videos should be clear, relevant and suitable for the selected placement. Do not use creative containing graphic violence, sexual exploitation, hateful abuse, threats, deceptive screenshots, fake system warnings, fabricated reviews, stolen branding or imagery that materially misrepresents the advertised product. Advertisers are responsible for the rights to all supplied media.
18. Claims, discounts and pricing
Discounts, countdowns, “limited stock”, “best price”, guarantees, rankings, certifications, income claims and performance statements must be truthful and supportable. A crossed-out price should represent a genuine reference price where the campaign presents it as such. Conditions, exclusions and time limits should be visible and understandable.
19. Links, landing pages and lead forms
Landing pages should load reliably, correspond to the advertisement and provide the information needed to understand the offer. Pages must not secretly download software, request passwords or OTPs, mimic another service's login screen, or use deceptive redirects. Lead forms should request only information that is reasonably necessary for the stated purpose.
20. Sensitive and regulated categories
Some categories may be prohibited, restricted, require additional review or be unavailable in particular placements. This can include regulated financial products, medical claims, adult services, gambling, weapons, controlled substances, hazardous materials, counterfeit goods and other legally restricted activities. A campaign being technically creatable does not mean that it is eligible for publication.
21. Fraud, scams and security
Advertising must not facilitate phishing, credential theft, fake investment opportunities, fake giveaways, fraudulent payment requests, fake support pages, malware distribution, identity theft, account takeover or other deceptive activity. Never ask shoppers to send passwords, OTPs, PINs, CVVs or private API credentials through an advertisement.
22. Review signals and campaign status
A campaign may be reviewed automatically, manually or through a combination of platform controls. Status such as draft, pending review, scheduled, active, paused or completed reflects the campaign record at that time. A review decision can change if the creative, destination, account status, product information or applicable rules change.
23. Appeals and corrections
When a campaign receives a review note, the advertiser should read the specific reason, correct the relevant creative or destination and resubmit where the interface allows it. Do not attempt to evade review by repeatedly changing unrelated wording while keeping the same prohibited offer or destination.
24. Placement previews
The final review screen is designed to show representative previews for eligible Gadget Trade placements, such as marketplace surfaces, feed-style placements and GT Reels. Previews help advertisers inspect creative, headline, description and call-to-action presentation before publishing; they are not a guarantee of exact rendering, delivery or performance.
25. Enforcement and updates
Gadget Trade may reject, limit, pause, remove or otherwise restrict advertising when necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce these policies, respond to abuse or maintain platform quality. Policies, available objectives, placements, review requirements and limits may be updated as the advertising service develops. The version displayed on the Gadget Trade policy page is the applicable published guidance.
26. Advertiser checklist
Before publishing, confirm that the account is eligible, the product or service is lawful, the creative is owned or licensed, the headline and description are accurate, the price and offer conditions are clear, the destination works, the selected audience is appropriate, the placement preview looks correct, the budget and schedule are intentional, and no confidential credentials appear anywhere in the campaign.
