Privacy, Data Controls & Deletion

A user-facing guide to privacy choices, account information, data minimisation and the available deletion workflow.

Privacy by feature

Different features can involve different information: marketplace listings need product and seller details, orders need fulfilment information, messages need conversation context, and security flows need authentication information. Only provide information relevant to the action.

Public versus private information

  • Public listing information can be visible to marketplace visitors.
  • Community posts and Reels can be visible according to their feature visibility rules.
  • Private messages are intended for the participants and authorised support workflows.
  • Passwords, OTPs, payment PINs and private keys should never be published.

Account deletion and data deletion

Use the official Data Deletion workflow when you want to request deletion. Deletion can affect listings, messages, community content, orders, subscriptions and other records according to the Privacy Policy, legal obligations and operational retention requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Can I delete only a photo or post?+

Use the delete control provided by the feature where available. Account-level data deletion is a broader process and should not be used when you only need to remove a single piece of content.

Does deleting an account erase every legal record immediately?+

Not necessarily. Certain records can be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, security, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Where can I read the full legal privacy rules?+

Open the Privacy Policy and the Data Deletion page from the site map or the linked documentation controls.
