Fraud Prevention Policy
How Gadget Trade prevents, detects and responds to scams, deceptive activity, suspicious payments and marketplace abuse.
Fraud is prohibited
Gadget Trade must not be used to obtain money, goods, credentials or personal information through deception, fake receipts, impersonation, malicious links or deliberate misrepresentation.
Protect payment credentials
Never share passwords, OTPs, card PINs, CVVs or similar secrets. Treat unusual payment-redirection requests and screenshots claiming payment as warning signs.
Report suspicious activity
Use the available report or Support flow and preserve listing links, order references, messages, receipts, screenshots and other useful evidence.
Safety review
Gadget Trade may review relevant account, listing, communication, transaction and security information when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, resolve disputes or protect users.
